BIM Coordinator - Architectural

TSP has an exciting opportunity for a BIM Coordinator that is energetic, and has a passion for working with the latest design and engineering technology. You will be a valuable member of our BIM Team working on company training, practice improvements, and updates to make the company any and the team members better, stronger, faster. This new BIM Coordinator role will wear 2 hats; one of the traditional Drafter/Designer involved with projects, and the other will be working with our BIM Team and the BIM Manager on tool updates, process improvements, training for staff, and standards development.

Responsibilities

• Work with BIM Team and the BIM Manager for software updates and best practice coordination.
• Participate in training sessions for internal staff on best practices and company standards.
• Manage building information models and processes, including coordination with other disciplines.
• Perform architectural assignments with only general instruction from the Project Architect.
• Demonstrate knowledge of procedures for production of design developments and construction documents, and knowledge of engineering planning, drafting and detailing.

Qualifications

• BachelorsAssociates Degree in a related field.
• A passion and talent for using learning and using new technologies.  
• 3+ years professional or internship experience preparing design and construction documents, details, and 3D models.
• Strong computer skills using Revit, and Autodesk products and related tools and processes.
• Ability to prepare drawings and details.
• Ability to effectively manage your time to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work on multiple projects with limited supervision in a team environment.
• Excellent analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership, communication and relationship management skills.
• Some IT skills are a plus.
• Must be a self-starter, self-motivated and able to problem-solve independently.
